Someone should care, maybe not you....

My thoughts on many things including the army, war, politics, the military corrections system, chaos, life, books, movies, and why there is no blue food. Feel free to comment on what I say. Feedback is nice.

Well that was unexpected

Russian troops in Syria. Of course it hasn't been confirmed but that is one way to absolutely guarantee that the west won't fly air support missions against the Syrian Army. Curiouser and curiouser.

With the proprietary Russian interest in Iran, the known proclivity of rewriting borders and toppling governments of 'the west', and the howling of media organs about the 'threat of Iran' ( give me a freaking break ) so that Russian intel figured the balloon was about to go up....what exactly should surprise us any more ?

Yes indeed Jen I have.

Hey Opit, don't forget Russia's equal proclivity for toppling governments and rewriting borders.

Besides which, the whole Russians in Syria thing turned out to be a phantasm.

Yes, there are 4. But I would never wish jail on someone who's only crime has been kindness to me for any amount of retribution on those I see now as less than human. But thank you for asking :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bsWHafahbvs Corbett Report features Sibel Edmonds of BoilingFrogsPost Originally I was watching a different show at http://my.opera.com/nepmak2000/blog/2013/03/04/geo-engineering-do-we-see-weather-warfare-or-dont-we?cid=105516212#comment105516212 And at the closing when discussing the 'blowing' of Operation Gladio in the Turkish press, Sibel makes the link to mujahideen taking over covert black ops i.e. al Qaeda

Are you so naive that you are unaware that the economy of the United States
is based on participation in continuing wars and not on bringing freedom, democracy or even a higher standard of living to other "inferior " nations?

Not sure who that comment is directed to Ric but I would say the economy of the United States is based on buying and selling. The war boost only happens because the government buys lots of stuff.
"... bringing freedom, democracy or even a higher standard of living to other "inferior " nations..." is no way to run an economy at all.
